Elkesley Neighbourhood Plan

Overview

The Elkesley Neighbourhood Plan was formally 'made' by Bassetlaw District Council following the referendum held on 12 November 2015. The Neighbourhood Plan forms part of the statutory Local Development Plan for Bassetlaw and shall be used when either applying for planning permission or determining planning applications within the Neighbourhood Area. Work to review the Neighbourhood Plan commenced in mid 2023, as detailed below.

Neighbourhood plans progress through various stages between designation and adoption. The progress of the Elkesley Neighbourhood Plan, and all supporting documents, is detailed below, with the most recent stage addressed first.

Review: Pre-Submission Draft stage (Summer 2024)

In accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, the Pre-Submission Draft of the reviewed Elkesley Neighbourhood Plan is currently the subject of public and stakeholder consultation. The consultation runs for 8 weeks, commencing on Friday 23 August, and concluding on Saturday 12 October 2024. The Plan and all supporting documents are available below.

Comments are welcomed, with a view to refining the Plan, and can be submitted:
