Overview

Babworth Parish Council's application to designate the Parish for the purposes of producing a neighbourhood plan was approved by Bassetlaw District Council on 24 September 2020. Consultation on the Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan commenced in February 2025, as detailed below.

Submission Draft stage (February - March 2025)

The Submission Draft version of the Babworth Neighbourhood Plan was formally submitted to Bassetlaw District Council in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in February 2025. Consultation on the Plan was undertaken between Thursday 6 February and Wednesday 19 March 2025.

The District Council is currently arranging for the Neighbourhood Plan to be the subject of independent examination, and further details as to next steps will be published here when available.

Pre-Submission Draft stage (Summer 2024)

In accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, the Pre-Submission Draft of the Babworth Neighbourhood Plan was the subject of public and stakeholder consultation from Monday 15 July until Monday 2 September 2024. The Plan and all supporting documents are available below.
