The Council's Brownfield Land Register provides consistent information on sites that we consider to be appropriate for residential development.
The register is in 2 parts:
- Part 1 lists brownfield sites that meet the relevant criteria. These criteria are that sites should be at least 0.25 hectares or capable of supporting at least 5 dwellings and they are suitable, available and achievable.
- Part 2 lists brownfield sites that are granted permission in principle.
We currently only have sites listed in part 1 because there are no sites that have been granted permission in principle.
