A series of artworks created by the Sutton Art Group, which has been running for over 25 years, has gone on show at Bassetlaw Museum.
The group meets every Friday morning in Sutton-cum-Lound village hall and provides a space for over 20 artists to learn and explore new techniques through occasional workshops and demonstrations.
Kasia Wosiak, Collections Officer at Bassetlaw Museum said:
“Bassetlaw Museum is delighted to support local artists. This exhibition features works across various media, including watercolours, oil paintings, drawings, and mixed media artworks, offering a glimpse into the artistic journey of each participant.
“It's a wonderful opportunity for our visitors to appreciate the talent and dedication of the art group.”
The exhibition runs until 27th April at Bassetlaw Museum, Grove Street, Retford and is open Monday to Saturday 10am-4.30 pm. Admission is free.
