Qualifications
- Recognised Housing related qualification, BTEC level 3 or equivalent specific and relevant experience gained over a minimum period of 2 or 3 years – Priority One
Knowledge
- Knowledge of current housing issues and legislation, particularly in relation to Resident Engagement and Involvement. – Priority One
Experience
- Experience of using IT systems e.g. Word, Excel, databases including housing management systems – Priority One
- Experience or working within a tenant / resident participation / housing management role or related field - – Priority One
- Experience of producing written reports and summarising essential information for staff, managers, tenants and Councillors – Priority Two
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people having a broad range of roles and capabilities – Priority One.
- Excellent customer care skills – Priority One
