NOTE: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Clearance is required for this role.
Qualifications
- GCSE’s at Levels 4-9/Grade C or above in English, or relevant equivalent. (Priority 1)
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the legislation and skills necessary in using enforcement powers (issuing fixed penalty notices and penalty charge notices) including the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (Priority 2)
- Understanding of GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018 (Priority 2)
Experience
- Experience of dealing with public enquiries, conflict and complaints in an effective and professional manner (Priority 1)
- Experience of managing and resolving anti-social behaviour issues within a local authority or similar environment. (Priority 2)
- Experience of issuing fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and using other enforcement tools (Priority 2)
- Experience of communicating verbally with a wide range of people (Priority 2)
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to listen, empathise, negotiate and mange conflict (Priority 1)
- Ability to deal with urgent, uncertain situations whilst challenging discrimination and anti-social behaviour in a community environment (Priority 1)
- Written communication skills in order to record actions and write reports, both manually and on the computer (Priority 1)
