Priority 1 – Could not do the job without this

Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period

Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential

Qualifications

  1. NVQ Level 4 qualification in Housing, Customer Services or a similar discipline or ability to demonstrate working at a similar level. – Priority One

Knowledge

  1. Knowledge of housing issues, welfare benefits, money advice, tenancy rights and the private rented sector. – Priority One
  2. Good knowledge of data quality and data protection issues. – Priority Two

Experience

  1. Experience of carrying out interviews and assessing circumstances. – Priority One
  2. Experience of working in a housing or support related role – Priority One

Skills

  1. Ability to input, extract, collate & analyse statistical data in order to produce reports – Priority Two
  2. Customer focused approach and the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in understandable spoken English – Priority One
  3. Fully understands their role in the context of safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. – Priority Two
