Priority 1 – Could not do the job without this

Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period

Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential

Qualifications (all Priority 1)

  1. Relevant Degree or equivalent level qualification

Knowledge (all Priority 1)

  1. Use of statistical data for performance management
  2. Knowledge and experience of trends in Public Policy formulation
  3. Knowledge of the scrutiny process/legislation and best practice

Experience (all Priority 1)

  1. Practical experience of production and interpretation of analytical evidence/trend data
  2. Experience of dealing with Performance Management
  3. Experience of researching complex issues
  4. Interpreting national developments and developing a local response

Skills (Priority 1)

  1. Excellent Interpersonal Skills
