Job title: Housing Officer (Tenancy Management)

 

Key requirements:

Priority 1 – Could not do the job without this

Priority 2 – Could not do the job without this, but provided have Priority 1 criteria, this could be developed in the job over an acceptable period

Priority 3 – Would enhance performance in the job, but is not essential

 

Qualifications

  1. CIH Level 4 in Housing Studies, or equivalent training/experience – Priority One

 

Knowledge

  1. working knowledge of housing issues and law in relation to tenancy and estate management and anti-social behaviour – Priority One

 

Experience

  1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within a similar or related field with significant and relevant experience – Priority One

 

  1. Experience of Housing Management and Tenancy Enforcement – Priority One

 

Skills

  1. Customer focused and committed to delivering high customer satisfaction, with excellent verbal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people having a broad range of motivations and capabilities – Priority One

 

  1. Ability to make recommendations to resolve issues, or take actions regarding any tenancy or estate related issues – Priority One
