Toasters

Unwanted electrical items can be disposed of at the Retford or Worksop Household Waste Recycling Centre.

Electrical items must not be placed in wheeled bins.
Toner Cartridges
How To Dispose:
Check with the manufacturer / supplier to see if they will accept the empty cartridges back. Otherwise they can be sent of for recycling in a freepost envelope available free of charge from some retail shops and supermarkets.

Turf

Tyres
How To Dispose:
Car tyres can not be taken to recycling centres and they should not be put in your waste wheeled bin. Most car repair garages will take your old tyres when they are replacing them with new ones. However, if you have replaced your own tyres, a garage may charge you a fee for accepting your old tyres. Dependent on the quality of the tyre, they will either be sent for re-treading or disposal. Please search the internet for car repair garages offering this service. More information is available on Recycle Now website.
Details and restrictions:
Old car tyres are classed as hazardous waste and cannot be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centres. Tyres cannot be sent to landfill either.
